Mike Trouchon
Mike has over 30 years of experience in the water quality field. Mike specializes in managing regional agricultural water quality monitoring programs and conducting comprehensive studies on salinity conditions and management. He has extensive experience in surface water quality impacts analyses, antidegradation analyses, and socioeconomic impacts analyses.
His primary work efforts have focused on evaluating the impact of state and federal policies on salt management in surface and ground waters. Mike’s work is redefining approaches to water quality management through his involvement in USEPA Financial Capability Assessments, wastewater treatment cost-benefit analyses, and salinity water quality objectives setting. He has played an integral role in beneficial use evaluation and de-designation studies.
Mike’s broad expertise in water quality assessment and management makes him a valuable contributor in for addressing complex environmental challenges. Mike has a Master’s Degree in Aquatic Ecology from the University of California, Davis.
