Chris Minton
Chris has more than 20 years of experience in environmental sciences. Chris specializes in supporting clients with NPDES permit negotiations for stormwater and wastewater, managing and implementing TMDL planning processes, water and sediment monitoring programs, and site-specific objectives studies. Chris has led collaborative efforts to develop technically sound and implementable TMDLs for metals, bacteria, legacy pollutants, and toxicity in water and sediment.
His primary work efforts have focused on supporting municipalities in the implementation of TMDLs, preparing technical and regulatory analyses to effectively address compliance issues. Chris has played an integral role in conducting field studies including Water Effect Ratios, toxicity investigations, bacteria source identification, and general characterization of bacteria, pesticides, and nutrients.
Chris’s expertise in TMDL development and implementation, along with his experience in regulatory negotiations, make him a valuable asset in addressing complex water quality challenges. Chris has a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science and Management from the Bren School at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
