Larry Walker Associates seeks applicants for an early to mid-career computer programmer who will support the growth of our groundwater, stormwater, and watershed management services. Additionally, the applicant will support the development and maintenance of code on Github; communicate and document with users; develop proposals with support from project managers; train and mentor staff; and develop and maintain internal standards of practice. The qualified candidate will perform both traditional and specialized services characteristic of LWA. The successful candidate will lead professional staff on projects that may include:

Minimum Qualifications

Experienced Environmental Engineers – Stormwater Focus

LWA seeks applicants for a mid-to-senior-level stormwater engineer who will support the development and growth of our stormwater engineering-related services and engineering team.   • Related civil/environmental engineering and environmental science projects

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or related field; a master’s degree is preferred, but not required;
  • Possess a valid license as a Professional Engineer in the State of California (and/or ability to obtain a reciprocal California P.E. license immediately);
  • At least 7 years of increasingly responsible work experience in the engineering industry, including 5 years of stormwater design and 3 years (preferred) of project management experience;
  • Green infrastructure/low impact development BMP design;
  • Cost estimating and scheduling;
  • Stormwater conveyance system design;
  • Design software (e.g., MicroStation, AutoCAD).
