Accounts Payable (AP)/Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP)/Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager to coordinate and manage all activities in the accounts payable/receivable function in our Davis, California office. To be a successful AP/AR Manager at LWA, candidates should be self-starters who are able to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment and can communicate effectively with staff, management, and clients. The position includes opportunities to expand responsibilities and conduct special projects.

The AP/AR Manager position is full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday. As a family-owned business, LWA supports hybrid work arrangements that give staff flexibility in balancing work and family obligations. New hires may request a hybrid arrangement after a period of full-time, onsite employment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the majority of the AP/AR functions of LWA
  • Provide support to the Invoice Manager, CFO, and Controller, including but not limited to budget, financial reports, and audits
  • Establish and/or maintain internal policies and procedures to ensure quality, timeliness, and accuracy of the assigned AP/AR functions
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the administrative team that supports the invoicing process. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, coordinating, and directing work for administrative staff in coordination with the Operations Manager.

Environmental Engineers and Scientists – Early Career Staff Position

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals looking to grow their experience in surface water, groundwater, wastewater, and stormwater quality engineering, regulation, and science. The successful candidate will work under senior supervision and alongside professional staff on projects that include: regulatory analysis; quantitative data, statistical, and geospatial analyses; surface and groundwater monitoring and special studies; development of watershed and groundwater management plans and reports; TMDL development, planning, and implementation; wastewater and stormwater NPDES permitting; salt and nutrient management planning; and related civil/environmental engineering.

  • A master’s degree from an engineering or science program with an environmental, hydrology, biology, ecology, or toxicology emphasis;

Experienced Environmental Engineers – Stormwater Focus

Professional Geologist

LWA is rapidly growing in the groundwater market sector and is seeking motivated individuals for challenging groundwater-related projects. We are looking for a professional geologist to perform duties related to developing groundwater sustainability plans, feasibility studies, ground water investigations, ground water modeling, surface/groundwater interaction, groundwater monitoring, and implementation of groundwater recharge projects. LWA will also provide candidates with opportunities to work on stormwater recharge, water resource, wastewater, and recycled water projects.
